Brain and Spinal Cord Injury
A catastrophic injury is an event that can change a life. Whether it’s a mild injury that requires rest and monitoring or a serious injury that can result in permanent disabilities, receiving specialized assessment and care after a brain or spinal cord injury is incredibly important to ensure the best long-term outcome.
At Prescribed Health, brain and spinal cord injury is a part of our lives. We have family members who have suffered traumatic brain injuries and spinal cord injuries. Based on our personal and clinical experiences, we created individualized care plans not only to ensure the best possible patient recovery, but to counsel and educate the family or caregiver as well, as the entire family is often affected by these life changing injuries.
Our nurses, therapists and other healthcare professionals are dedicated to educating and empowering patients to take charge of their own care, allowing them to achieve the highest possible level of health and independence.
Our philosophy places our patients at the center of our care. Their goals become our mission. Their individual needs guide our treatment. At Prescribed Health, we make every effort to match each patient’s needs with the right clinician’s skills to achieve the best results. We don’t just treat brain and spinal cord injury, we have lived through it as well. It’s a part of who we are.
